The Association for Consulting Expertise (A.C.E.) was originally established in 1981 as Professional Consultants of Maine, based in Portland. The organization evolved, becoming the Maine Association of Professional Consultants (M.A.P.C.) in 2002. M.A.P.C. adopted a set of ethical standards, expanded training and development programs for its members, and more recently offered seminars for the business community. In recognition of its growth, the professional and geographic reach of its membership and clients, the organization has today evolved into the Association for Consulting Expertise.
Members of A.C.E. average over 10 years of professional consulting experience. The organization welcomes and offers extra support for those new to the consulting profession.
Clients of A.C.E. member consultants are assured of excellence, integrity, quality, knowledge, skills, and capabilities. Among our nearly 100 members, clients can find experience and expertise in everything from technology, manufacturing, and health care to sustainable industries, non-profits/ NGO's, retail, distribution, and financial services.
