LinkedIn is an essential tool for those individuals who need to make connections with other businesses and individuals to sell their products or services. It extends the use of person-to-person networking events. However, it is not easy to understand how to make LinkedIn work for your business.  Most professionals have profiles but that is as far as they get. LinkedIn is capable of so much more. This course will help business professionals maximize the use of LinkedIn to benefit their business.

The course will include the following topics:

  • Understanding what LinkedIn can do for you
  • Optimizing your LinkedIn profile
  • Building your network on LinkedIn
  • Utilizing a company profile
  • Using groups and other methods to build your credibility and connections
  • Finding jobs and listing jobs

Participants will leave this course comfortable in the use of LinkedIn to build their businesses. They will understand how to provide the right personal and company information and how to reach out and build connections which result in business.

Instructor: Judi Jones, principal of InfoHarbor LLC, places her clients online in front of their prospective clients. She specializes in Internet Marketing which includes online placement, social media assistance, website development and optimization. In business since 1998, Judi has a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science and years of experience in everything ‘Internet.’

ACE is supporting this course. Fellow members Jay Casavant and Uli Stewart will be helping with the section on finding jobs through LinkedIn.
