ACE Member Panel on "How We Contract With and Charge our Clients."

Contracting with and charging our clients are fundamentals.  It’s what brings home the bacon (or bagels…). Moving a prospect from the introductory stage through and to closing a job is a challenge all of us face and only a few of us do it comfortably if not well. Few of us have a clear and consistent supporting process and tools. Do you?

Some of the topics and options that will be discussed:

  •          Contracts or Letters of Agreement
  •          Scope of Work
  •         Fee Setting: Hourly? Daily? By the Project?
  •          Performance Based Projects and Compensation
  •          Client Communications
  •          Record Keeping & Confidentiality

Please join us for an informative panel. Each of our ACE panelists represents a different approach to their practice.  They have agreed to bring their perspectives to our table!

Participants will leave this session with models and concrete ideas to use in their own practices.

Roundtable

Takes place from 9:45-10:30 following the regular meeting and is optional

Making Mentoring Work for You

Many collaborative experiences have been initiated within the ACE group because of the helpful nature of its participants. Some of those experiences were initiated from our mentorship program and then quickly grew into a deeper relationship, where benefits were gained by both mentor and mentee.

During this roundtable, several of our master mentees will discuss their experiences:  how their past mentoring relationships originated, what took place, and what benefits came from those relationships.

During the program we will also investigate initiating a formal mentoring program within ACE that will encourage members to learn from one another. Our members are naturally helpful. However, time is short and developing a thoughtful mentoring relationship can be time-consuming.

It’s rewarding to assist people in their career, especially when both parties can benefit.  Join us for our lively discussion on developing a mentoring program for you and or your company.
