The 1-2 Punch!

Writing & Speaking to Advance Your Professional Practice

Presented by Ken Lizotte CMC

Professionals who write and publish articles and books, and speak regularly at conferences and business events, generate a magnetic pull for their expertise that raises them way above their competition. By practicing the “1-2 Punch,” you will transform yourself into a guru, a thoughtleader, an expert with an edge.

1-2 Punchers draw qualified prospects to seek them out (no more wondering where to find them!) … and they command the highest fees, dictate favorable terms and conditions, accept only to projects they enjoy, and eliminate business development peaks-and-valleys.

Attend this program to learn:

  1. how to publish articles in reputable business publications
  2. whether to self-publish your book or go looking for a publisher
  3. how to obtain speaking engagements with audiences in your target markets
  4. proven tips for writing well and speaking well
  5. leverage techniques so your 1-2 Punch generates referrals and new clients
  6. two additional punches to tie all your biz dev efforts together!

Sales Basics Brush-Up for the Non-Sales Professional

All consultants are in sales, whether they want to be or not.  Actually, everyone is in sales, not just all consultants, since the name of the business game is ‘win business’.

So how do you market yourself to win more business, when you love what you do, but you greatly dislike, even hate the idea of selling?

Perhaps you’re a bit of an introvert; skillful in your trade but hate to put yourself out there in a sales-y way.  Good news – you don’t have to be sales-y to win at selling!

This Round Table discussion will give you a brush up on some basic sales tips and techniques to support your sales efforts, likely add some new knowledge that you never learned before, from new and old psychology of sales research, and add your wins and sales snafu recovery stories to a lively discussion.
