Agents of Change -

How to Stay Relevant in a 24/7, Always-Connected, Always-On, Digital World

So much of today's business is conducted online and through mobile devices.  Google, Craig's List, Facebook, Amazon & iThings are just a small sampling of the disrupters that we run into every day.

In this fast-paced session, you'll get a bird's eye view of how to use search, social and mobile to increase your own visibility, value and relevancy, as well as that of your clients.  By understanding these "agents of change" you'll be in a position to help your clients stay in front of their ideal customers, ahead of their competition, and in the black.

Rich Brooks is founder and president of flyte new media (http://www.flyte.biz), a web design and marketing firm in Portland, Maine.  He is a nationally-recognized speaker on entrepreneurship, Internet marketing and social media.  Rich presents and blogs (http://www.flyteblog.com) on web marketing topics such as social media, search engine optimization, email marketing, blogs and building websites that sell. He is currently an Expert Blogger at FastCompany.com and a regular contributor at SocialMediaExaminer.com.  He is a founder of The Agents of Change Digital Marketing Conference (http://www.agentsofchangecon.com/), an annual conference on search, social & mobile marketing.

He is the “tech guru” on WCSH Channel 6’s evening news show, 207, and teaches web marketing and social media courses for entrepreneurs at the University of Southern Maine's Center for Continuing Education.

Blogging Part of YOUR Social Media Strategy? (Should it be?)

Consultants need to display and communicate their expertise and a great way to do that is to blog. Blogging also gets your name out there and helps you sharpen your writing skills. Let’s talk about what it means to have a blog, what's involved for you to maintain a blog, the do’s and don'ts on successful blogging, the time commitment, and how to best use a blog as a marketing tool. If you are thinking at all about having a blog now or in the future, this discussion will aid in your decision process. And if you have a blog currently, contributing your wisdom and personal experience to the circle will enrich the discussion.

Judi, president of InfoHarbor LLC, specializes in putting her clients in front of their prospective clients online. She does this through online placement, social media, mobile marketing and website development. It is easy to get lost in the crowd online – InfoHarbor can help you stand out.
