About Our Speakers:

Stefanie Gill is the Founder and Lead Recruiter of IntWork, a unique diversity recruiting and executive search agency based in Maine. Stefanie is passionate about helping Maine companies diversify by connecting them with qualified diverse individuals who want to live and work in Maine. Her passion is discovering hidden immigrant talent and developing pipelines for refugees and asylum seekers to return to their careers in the U.S. through licensure, internships, and full-time career placements. Before founding IntWork in 2018, Stefanie led DEI initiatives across the New York City public hospitals, work that was featured on the front page of the New York Times.

Stefanie loves connecting with people across cultures and languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French and Mandarin Chinese), a hobby that started when her family hosted Maine's first refugees from Vietnam back in 1975. She holds a degree in East Asian Studies from Wesleyan University, a MBA from Baruch/Zicklin School of Business, and is an alumna of Leadership Maine. She enjoys exploring Maine's ethnic food, music, and dance with her writer husband and 12-year old son, and taking headshots of IntWork candidates that bring out their warmth and enthusiasm. Muhammad Humza Khan is an HR Professional and founder of Inclusion Maine, a Consulting firm, specializing in building diverse, equitable, and inclusive organizations.
