Employee Retention Strategies in the New Paradigm

With the multigenerational workforce, competition for working age people, and a post pandemic view of the workplace, retaining people in Maine can be difficult. If you are fortunate to recruit people, your task has to focus on keeping them or keeping those you now have. There are leading strategies that help people have a sense of purpose, feel respect and supported that encourages them to be more engaged and more willing to stay. We are in a new paradigm today and it is likely not going to change. Purpose, Respect and Support are three overarching ideas that frame this session. Specifically the session will cover Designing your culture, Reward and Recognition strategies, and the Relationship between Feedback and Performance and finally Peer Coaching. This interactive session will explore the context, and strategies employers can use immediately to help retain their new and existing people. Participants will be encouraged to participate. There will be at least one take away document.

Tara Jenkins

Tara Jenkins is the founder of Conscious Revolution, an organization that partners with leaders to build conscious businesses. As one of the first Certified Conscious Capitalism Consultants in the world and a Certified B Corp, she is devoted to building profitable businesses that make the world a better place. Tara has spent her 25 year career shaping leadership and culture as an HR and DEI leader in various industries, companies, and countries for national and global organizations. Tara is the founder of the Maine Conscious Business Collective and the Board Chair for ProsperityME. She lives in Scarborough, Maine with her husband, two children and a menagerie of pets.

Francis Eberle

Francis helps leaders to grow by helping them increase their confidence and expertise to improve their performance and results. He is a thought-leader, author and executive coach at Price Associates and has “been a leader” himself of several organizations. He works in many industries as people anchor them all. He uses a suite of assessment tools to build self-awareness and awareness of others, emotional Intelligence and for feedback so leaders know their impact others. He is certified as; a coach, the assessment tools and digital facilitation. His book, Connected Leadership, now has a workbook for leaders and their teams.
