Our June Program is also the ACE Annual Meeting. We will review the year, vote in new officers and board members, and address some governance issues in our board documents.
We will also have our regular program. The presentation will provide an overview of FocusMaine, and its mission, vision, programs, and partnerships. There will be a focus on the entrepreneurs, businesses, and workforce we support, as relevant to this audience of consultants and service providers.
Participants will learn about FocusMaine's sector-based approach to economic development, and gain an understanding of Maine's food and bioscience sectors, and the workforce to support those sectors.
About Our Speaker:
Leo Waterston is a dynamic, mission-driven professional with over 20 years of experience working in diverse roles within nonprofit, healthcare, scientific research, and public health settings, with increasing levels of leadership and responsibility. Skills and interests include program management, multi-sector partnerships, social determinants of health, workforce development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
